Yes, you can teach an old dog new tricks! As many offices once were, paper ran our business. Lasting Impressions took the step many years ago to lower our carbon footprint on this planet and go completely paperless in our office.
Eco-Rinse
Invested into the latest technology called Eco-Rinse to reduce the environmental impact and lower our water waste. Eco-Rinse is used for washing out the physical screens that are used with each and every screen printing order.
Say Goodbye to Job Jackets!
Prior to our sustainability focus, every order that was printed in our facility had a job jacket along with all artwork films and approvals. We now run completely paperless utilizing tablets on the production floor to reference artwork, carry images, thread colors and ink charges.
Reduce – Reuse – RECYCLE!
REDUCE: In order to lesson the amount of paper used we introduced electronic payment options along with electronic invoicing to save on paper and envelopes. Additionally, orders are combined and shipped out together when applicable to save on packaging.
REUSE: Donations are made regularly to local shelters and churches so that no items go to waste or sit in a landfill. Discarded items such as jackets, lip balm, hats, bags and more, all go to use when we do not have a place for them. Last year alone, we donated over 50 pallets of merchandise to local facilities in need!
RECYCLE: Lasting Impressions introduced company wide recycling at both our headquarters and production facility. In addition, all orders go out in the same boxes the goods arrived in to recycle the box and reduce waste.
