FORTY YEARS AND STILL GROWING
It’s 1976. Jimmy Carter is elected President; the average sale price of a new home is $43,400; Farah Fawcett is an international superstar. And in the basement of his mother’s suburban Detroit house, an entrepreneurial 20-year old college student embarks on a dream to own his own business. His name is Mark Dabeiro. A football player throughout his school years, he sticks to what he knows – sports. He starts a sports uniform supply company, and although he sells more t-shirts the first year with the image of the Charlie’s Angel star than anything else, Mark is able to move the business into a small store in the city’s ice arena. He soon added customized promotional gifts for businesses and special events – and the rest is history.

Today, Lasting Impressions is a family-run business located in Canton, Michigan, providing promotional products for organizations large and small, including Fortune 500 companies, professional sports teams, mid-sized manufacturers and even the neighborhood bar and grill. GIVING BACK WITH DABIERO CHARITIES
We’re proud of our Michigan roots and we believe in giving back to the community. We started Dabiero Charities to help children and families in Mark’s hometown of Melvindale. Each Christmas, we raise money to provide 400+ children with a holiday meal and gifts tailored to their interests. We work with schools and churches to locate children in need and talk with each family to choose just the right gifts. We play Santa for the day-= it’s a rewarding experience for everyone involved!
Dabiero Charities grew out of a family tradition. One Christmas, about ten years ago, the family decided to help families in need rather than exchange gifts. Each year the effort has grown bigger and today we organize a team of volunteers of over 50 people to organize, shop and deliver the gifts.
