Kicking off business in the basement of his mother’s Suburban Detroit home, Founder Mark Dabiero has been part of the community for many years. That local importance has been a big role in the business and our employee’s lives ever since.
Our physical location through the years has changed and grown with the company. Starting in Lincoln Park, MI, and moving to facilities in Dearborn Heights, Livonia, and Westland. We now have two locations in Southeast Michigan. Southfield houses our sales office and showroom and is the perfect space for traveling sales reps to stop for the day. Our production facility is located in Melvindale, a stone’s throw away from Detroit. We love the city and area and is the perfect spot to grab lunch on the go with the many mom and pop restaurants with that homemade feel in the area.
Deep Michigan Roots
Melvindale is the location for our production and fulfillment center. Screening, embroidery, and drinkware are all printed in house by our staff. Quality control is essential and the key to running a smooth operation with satisfied customers. Because of our dedicated employees and staff, we are now able to offer fulfillment services with custom imprinted merchandise with a 24-48 hour turn around.
Without our dedicated staff, we would not be where we are today! With over 40 people on board, we are a true team in every sense of the word. 2020 has been a crazy year for many people and businesses. Our team was dedicated to not only sustaining through that time but also doing what it would take to succeed. We are proud to announce that we were able to accomplish bottling our won USA Made hand sanitizer through this time.
Supporting local our local roots and community has always been a goal of ours as we do business. Having roots in Melvindale and that being the foundation of our company, the LI Team donates time and resources to the community. Mainly focusing our efforts during the holidays, we adopt families to buy gifts and food. Our charity (Dabiero Charities) has the slogan of Living – Loving – Locally. We are proud to say that each year since the charity has started, we have raised enough and donated food and gifts for over 300 children each year! With the help of many, it is a team effort in reaching that goal.
Lasting Impressions has been family owned and operated from the start. Mark Dabiero started the business in 1976. In 2017 he sold the company to his two daughters and also Jeff Nowaske who has worked with the Li Team for over 15 years. We are now a proud certified member of the WBENC, Women-Owned Business Enterprise.
